Welcome to Nuthin Fancy Laser Engraving
Nuthin Fancy Laser Engraving was started by Chad and Sara Hayzlett in Arizona in 2019, with the goal of creating fun, functional handmade products people can enjoy every day.
In 2022 we moved to Virginia, and in 2024 we expanded the business to North Carolina by adding Paul and Sue Hayzlett to the team. Every piece we make is designed, laser engraved and finished by us with care. We combine modern laser technology with hands-on craftsmanship to create unique wooden pieces that are both practical and beautiful.

Our Products
Journals & Sketchbooks
Our journals feature Baltic birch wood covers that are hand-stained and laser engraved. Each journal is carefully assembled by hand with hand-cut paper and durable wire binding. They’re perfect for journaling, sketching, note-taking, or gifting to someone special.

Wooden Artwork
Our laser engraved artwork is made on 1/4-inch wood and hand-stained by our team. Because every piece is finished by hand, no two are exactly alike—each one has its own character. All artwork is clear coated for protection and comes in a variety of sizes and designs.
Sun Catchers
Our wooden sun catchers brighten any space. Each design is laser cut and etched with mirrored artwork on both sides. When light reflects from them, they create beautiful rainbow reflections—perfect for windows, sunrooms, patios, or as a thoughtful gift. We offer a variety of designs and are always dreaming of new ones, so there’s always something fresh to see!
